ESEC Building

1. import and display ETABS model in 3D view.
2. check design of beams, columns, and footings under various load cases.
3. support multiple international codes, such as American ACI 318, British BS8110, and Egyptian ECP 203.
4. show demand/capacity (D/C) ratios for columns using the following 5 approaches
Approach 1: D/C ratios are calculated by ETABS software.
Approach 2: Madd is calculated using design code in ETABS, 3D-interaction diagrams are calculated by design code in ESEC.
Approach 3: Madd is calculated using simplified ECP (Item 6-4-6-2-1), use 2D-interaction diagrams, magnify one moment and neglect other moment.
Approach 4: Madd is calculated using simplified ECP (Item 6-4-6-2-3), use 2D-interaction diagrams, magnify Mx & My and take larger D/C ratio.
Approach 5: Madd is calculated using ECP, 3D-interaction diagrams are calculated using design code in ESEC.
5. calculate (D/C) ratios for beams and isolated footings.
